Calm Your Nerves!

The sound of falling water has long been known to be a great way to soothe frazzled nerves and revitalize the senses. That better way to bring that relaxation into your life than with an indoor fountain? Having a water fountain inside your home or office cannot help but make a statement, and makes for a great addition to any room.

An indoor floor fountain can help create a tranquil escape from the stress and bustle of the outside world by filling the room with the soothing sound of rushing water. Water fountains are also a great addition to the décor in any room, and can help create a tranquil atmosphere visually as well as with the sound of cascading water. The human body is mostly made of water and there is nothing like a waterfall to bring out our deepest instincts to be one with nature. Indoor fountains are also well known to be good for your health. In addition to the benefits of lowering stress in your body, indoor floor fountains generate negative ions, which can help to block some of the harmful electromagnetic radiation from radio waves, cell phone and wireless internet signals etc. that we are bombarded by on a daily basis. These negative ions are a great way to indirectly reduce stress. Water fountains are also great for helping with air quality. An indoor fountain can help circulate and clean the air, pulling harmful pollutants out of it, as well as act as a humidifier, helping you breathe a little easier even as you relax in its soothing presence. Having a fountain in a sanctuary room can be a great escape, especially for people with asthma or other respiratory conditions.

Floor fountains make your house a home.

Water fountains can promote overall bodily health in that by reducing the levels of stress in your daily life or by having a place to come to just get away for a while and recharge, your body will be better able to fight diseases, heal itself and more because it can spend more energy on these things and less on dealing with the stress in your life. Stress is a major cause of many mental as well as physical problems, and having a fountain around can be a great help to people with heart conditions or psychological problems like depression or excitability.

A water fountain just radiates a wonderful calming feeling everywhere you can see and hear it. People find themselves drawn to water fountains, especially if they are in an unexpected place, like inside a home. An indoor floor fountain may quickly become the gathering spot of choice for those wishing to calm down and just relax for a little while before getting on with their days, and may increase productivity and morale if placed in a workplace environment. Indoor fountains are a great way to get away from it all for a little while, all without ever actually going anywhere. If you are stressed, there is nothing like the sound of a fountain to calm jangled nerves, and if you are not stressed (and who is not stressed), a water fountain can be just the thing to make sure that you remain relaxed and happy.

Great post, I always knew the sound of the ocean reduces stress but never even thought indoor fountains would too. I'll probably link to your pages for more content.
