There is that little corner of your garden that is just begging to have something in it. However, you don't want to plant the usual flowers. You may want to consider a water fountain. But what kind? There are so many choices to pick from. Since the fountain is for the outdoors, maybe you should consider a natural slate fountain. These are very durable, perfect for the outdoors. Then again there maybe that one corner of the living or dining room that just doesn't look right, it needs something. Once again, a natural slate fountain can be the answer.

If you do some looking, you will find that the slate fountain can come in the form of lightweight wall hangings. The great thing about natural slate water fountain it can be used indoors as well as that little spot in the garden. Some are even light enough to hang on gazebos. Others you need to just make sure that the wall that you are going to hang the wall fountain on is strong enough because slate water fountains can be very heavy. There is a wide variety to pick from. So many that there is bound to be something to fit not just that little corner in the garden but anywhere in the home. Great places to look for wall or freestanding slate water fountain is online or your local gardening store.

Slate wall fountains come in numerous styles, shapes, sizes, and colors. So that means they can fit into corners, alcoves, walls just about anywhere you can think of. There are freestanding fountains, and wall slate fountains, there even fountains from past periods of time. Free stand or floor slate fountains can add that much needed sense of peace in your home and they are a great home decor addition. The freestanding floor fountain doesn't have to be the type that takes up a huge amount of room either, they can be found in tall and narrow types as well.

So if you are not sure where is a good place to put one, here a few ideas. A fountain can be used to direct traffic in your home, there is having it against a wall to both have it out of the way and still be able to view it and enjoy it. Another idea is to put the fountain in front of a mirrored wall so that people on either side of the wall can see it. One more idea is having a room set aside for just quiet meditation, a slate water fountain will be able to help in the relaxation needed for this. No matter what, your guests are going to be impressed with it.

Using floor fountains is a great way to find that something to complement the pre-existing style of your home or a room. If the look is contemporary then a black slate fountain would be just the thing. When I mentioned small freestanding water fountains, what came to mind is the tabletop aqueduct slate fountain.  These are great if you simply just don't have the room but love the sound of water bubbling over stone.
